Hello to everyone,

My vehicle shakes as if running out of fuel when accelerating or when I take my foot off the accelerator. I could not find the source of the problem.

I just had the maintenance of the vehicle done. All fluids and all filters were changed during the final maintenance. The fuel sediment has been cleared. In addition to all these, the timing belt was changed and valve adjustment was made. Although the problem seems to be partially past at first, the problem occurs again when the vehicle warms up. I think the lift pump may be faulty.

Anyone have any idea about this topic?

Check the leak off pipes on the injectors if they are perished air can get into the fuel system.

i replaced the lift pump but the problem did not fix. I noticed that the fuel quantity of the diesel pump was lower than it should have been. When I increased the amount of fuel, the problem was largely gone. Now I'll replace the LDA diaphragm and fuel pin on the Fuel pump.

could be it is not advancing correctly, however you say the timing belt was done. i would start with a double check of pump timing as a little bit out there can cause some issues.

i would stay away from FIP until you really have to
