thats great stuff,

it fits me perfectly then as im thick as 2 planks or was it 3,lolol

You should have a special vehicles plate showing the build number on it too. Most likely in the engine bay.

Special vehicles badges denote that the vehicle was not made on Land rovers "normal production line" (if such a thing exists!)
It was manufactured in a different building, as a special order vehicle, because it has some sort of modifications that aren't done to a "standard" land rover.

this could be a number of things, ranging from the totally extreme, to just having a NATO towing electrics kit fitted. Either way, if it had to specially commissioned, it will have a stamped plate under the bonnet, stating the contract number of the build, and it should have the special vehicles badges too.

Lots of commercial 110's were special vehicles- the ones that electricity board have, with workshop racks in the back, eberspacher heaters, big hydraulic winches, side access panels etc.

yu mean like this?

By the sounds of it i will make sure they dont come off or get pinched.

i will check out the plate underneath the bonnet

shame the badge didnt add any value to the freelander.

Don't lose them, there very expensive to replace, and all Freelander commercials were Special Vehicle build. :)

since doing the conversion on mine i really like it, drives to be honest like an ordinary car, really comfortable and plenty quick enough for what i need , will set it at 70 mph turn the cruise and will happily sit there all day long

glad its got the special vehicle as it describes the driver perfectly , lolol

would definitely have another one and glad i came on here first, got advice and bought the td4
