Hi has anyone repaired HK speakers.I did a search and found a thread from adamukwest back I 2014.tried to pm him but his name cannot be found. I'm sure I've seen him on recently. as you can see they need New cones.

Not worth it in my opinion. I bought some Poly Cone drivers with rubber surrounds on ebay for about £25 a pair. No issues with damp like paper cones, and they sound great with the HK amps. Not done the midrange yet, but planning to because 2 of them are starting to rattle !!
 
you say not worth it.. but £5 and an hours time sounds worth it to me and you're not throwing away what is otherwise a working speaker
however, if you're worried about the change in output from differing damp levels in a cone then you've probably already upgraded the whole audio system anyways
 
I did a repair on my speakers in the sub will see if I can find it. But to be honest go for new as mentioned from the bay
 
Hi folks......Is the sub woofers,6.5 inch speakers and are they 3 ohm ,I need to fix one as it buzzzzzes ,my foams starting to go ,its on my list of things to do ,o_O......cheers......RR

Yup, not sure about the ohm though I thought I saw 8 on my speaker I will check later still in the pit at the mo.:D
