Decided to change my tyres to mud from road and my spare is touching the bumper and stopping me from opening the back door.
Is there a plate or something that you can use to raise the spare wheel. Or could I just fit it with the top 2 bolts. ?

On the disco 2 you can flip the carrier up the other way to give it a bit of a lift. Middle bolt holes won't line up though

This is when I find out there tooooo big.
Hope my door hasn't dropped only had it a couple of months.
Can't check at the moment cause I will have to take the spare off to open it.

first expensive lesson learnt, the tyres came with the disco. And the garage never said anything when fitting them.
Never thought they might be too big.

Better fit some std dimension tyres or max 5% bigger(nothing which exceeds the circumference of 255/70/16) but with standard after those huge ones i'm sure you'll be pleased how well it runs and watch the consumption too
