On impulse I have traded in the love of my life (hope the wife doesn't read this).
I now have a younger model - Freelander 2
The car is very different - hate the steering and the sunroof, love the engine and the fact that your trousers don't get mud on the back when getting out

But most of all I hate not having a wheel hanging off the back door - does anyone know of a swing away wheel carrier for the new Freelander?

Nope If you find one make sure it attaches to the chassis/bumper and not the door. Or you'll lose the door and your sparewheel when it gets wet..

think there is some kind of kit out there some place have a look on ebay and preloved you maybe lucky
