Neither leave it standard! But that is my preference. What are best aluminium or steel wheel spacers any experience appreciated
None of them. They will shorten the life of your wheel bearings. I would leave standard or go for greater offset wheel. There is a thread on here somewhere which explains the reasoning in a far more technical way. What are best aluminium or steel wheel spacers any experience appreciated
Hubcentric ones only, if you get the right ones they are pretty cit and forget, ive not had to remove mine for any reason yet and ive changed 2 diffs, 3 drive flanges and 3 half shafts.
They arnt related. I was saying having them fitted hasnt made doing any jobs any more difficult.
Some wheels dont come in multiple offsets such as Bowlers and Boosts so spacers are often needed.

If you are fitting wider tyres then surely you need wider rims as well and therefore should choose a rim available in multiple offsetsWider tyres
Didnt want other alloys as the Bowlers are very pretty! Haha
I used alloy hub centric spacers from raptor (i think they are tyrex), as I have alloys. I thoroughly cleaned mating faces, decreased studs and loctited nuts. All good
can't remember, I think I put a smear of grease. Just make sure you de grease hub studs and nut threads, then loctite nuts when fitting the spacers. I also put a light smear of grease on the cone of the nuts so they don't bind up when tightening.Would you apply copper slip on the mating surfaces to prevent seizure
