Yes, a great day. Leisurely. Didn't drive balls out on tarmac, stopped for lunch at a pub. Watched the gliders taking off and chatted with the Disco owning winch guy. Came across friendly walkers. Made for a different day out :)

Meetings are every month, on the second Monday. Next meet therefore is 13th October. Plenty of time to get spannering lol

i seem to break more than i fix at the moment, I'm hoping to get plenty done tomorrow morning and early afternoon before the mrs kicks off :D

I am hoping for lots of snow this year or at the start of next so i really need it fixed for the white stuff!! Ill pencil myself in for the one in november! 3rd

I am now .. ;)

Not on the website yet, it's only just been done.

Have you still got your Glass magazine Paul? I think reps details were in there. Mines already hit the bin lol. Failing that ask Sue. I think she's a rep now.

Yeah, but I've only just, within the last couple of days, decided I would do it! Waiting for the Glass email address but I'm definitely South Yorks Glass rep!

I guess it'll go up on the Glass forum/website when they get to it as they're all volunteers and stuff takes time, with the Area reps co-ordinator also being changed at the same time.

When I looked at what they want I realised I do most of it anyway, speaking with the councils, getting on the local council forums and generally getting 'good' information about lanes and their true status as well as helping clear them, driving them to check condition but now it'll be on a more 'professional' basis .. ;)

Great news Paul. I'm sure they've got a good person for the job :) If you fancy meeting your neighbour in the Peak I'll accompany you if you like. They meet the 1st Monday of the month.

Yeah no worries, cheers.

I sorta got pushed into it from Sue, as she's North Yorks Rep now, but it's something I thought about for a few years now so it seemed a good time to do it, and no-one else seemed to want to! Not that there are a lot of lanes .. SY is big, but has only a very few lanes .. Most of those we did on the SY night run are North Lincs for instance!

Doncaster has 5 lanes, Barnsley has 5, most of which are dead ends anyway, and I've still to properly check Rotherham and Sheffield, but I suspect similar or I'd have probably known or driven most of them by now, so in reality it's probably a pretty easy position to fill!

I've got a new set of decals for the Orange machine. Anyone know of a good vehicle wrapper/sign person to fit them?

Hope to get my decals on at the next meet. Unfortunately Mark won't be there so depends on kind hearted Stacey. Would it help if I said pretty please?
Big thumbs up to TC who said he'll help (read do it all) lol
