Weekend of 18th July, camping, B&B, hotel, whatever. We're trying to make a route so that every night we can stop where those who camp can, those who B&B or hotel can at least be very close by, so we can have a nightly booz ... er ... get together and sing-song, like Scouts round a campfire ... :)

We're even going to try to make scheduled break/view/rest stops along the route so we can also see any local sights, viewpoints etc ..

Well, now you mention them .. Us blokes are aiming (see what I did there) to have rest stops spaced well enough for ladies to only just start dribbling, rather than having full on Tsunami's ...

So that's 10 so far ..

Stuff the 'small is beautiful' then (but it is really, I mean, look at me!) let's have a grand melee .. 48 Landrovers green laning from one side of the country to the other, all in a single convoy, all with big knobbly tyres, getting stuck in ruts and mudholes we made ourselves, and stuff the bobblies ..

Maybe we need a "C2C as politically incorrectly as possible" poster ... with a picture of a large Fedima rolling over a Rambler laid down in a rut, the artistic possibilities are endless ;)
 
Is this going to be a weekend trip?
Would like to do a c2c trip just need to hurry up and get my rota for the next few months, to see if it is my long weekend or i need to book time off.
So put me down as a possibility pls.
