Hi everyone
Firstly, let me say I am a newbie having just bought my first Landy Freelander '04 Td4 two weeks ago. I love it and it seems to drive very nicely.. except when I turn left or right, where I experience a 'rubbing' sound from the front. I have researched the forums on here and most people who have this complaint mention a metallic rattle like an empty can. That is not what I'm experiencing - mine sounds more like a temporary flat tyre until I straighten out (which I definitely don't have, and they're not actually rubbing). Though the reading I have done, I'm bogged down by VCU, bearings, brake caliper etc but I just wanted to get the option of someone who may have experienced exactly this. While I'm here, perhaps someone could also recommend a trust worthy LR mechanic in the South London area or Sussex who I could talk to?
Anyway, many thanks guys and gals.
