I'm replacing the clutch in the next few weeks or so, the biting point is getting ridiculous now.
I'm after some pointers from people who have done this on a TD4, mine is a 53. What el e did you replace while you were on? Mater/slave cylinder? DMF? Anything elce that may be changed at the same time worth wile doing?

So the list so far, clutch, master and slave cylinder, and the release bearing.
What about the DMF? Does it NEED replacing when the clutch is done?

Hi Mick-have u looked into bleeding it first? my biting point was non existent..bled through and now it's an inch off the mat! Happy days!

Not yet mate. I suppose I should I go down that route first, it may save me some money!
How long did it take you to bleed yours? How much fluid did you use?

I put a tutorial on here not long ago. took about an hour to do and used approx 0.5litre of fluid. might be worth eyeballing the piston on your master cylinder behind clutch pedal for signs of a leaking seal.

Ok mate. I will go have a search for your how2. Thanks for the advice, if I get stuck I will give you a shout.
