It’s with very mixed feelings that I’ve decided to part with my Range Rover after almost 10 years of ownership. Bought in early 2009 with just over 50K on the clock it now has fewer than 118K.

I’ve ordered a new car for early September delivery. The Range Rover is going to be either sold to an enthusiast or it goes in part ex.

I’d prefer the car to go to an enthusiast who would appreciate it for what it is. I’ve enjoyed driving it for the last 10 years however life changes and I must adapt to the change.

Pricing is very difficult as you all know so I’m being realistic for a quick sale and also say that on a new car I’ve been offered much less than the £2500 I think is fair for this car.

Low mileage indeed, though I've only done 16k in my Classic in 10 years of ownership, mind you it's not a daily driver.
Good luck with the sale, hopefully withdrawal symptoms won't be too strong :(

The really low mileage ones spend all their time on the drive being fixed!
 
SOLD for £3700.
It was both a lot of fun to own and very frustrating at the same time, not to mention bloody expensive.
New chapter awaits....

Pick a manufacturer that doesn't have issues due to lower quality materials:eek:
I've had Toyota and Mitsibishi, both totally reliable, even my Hyundai Galloper only suffered a failed glow plug relay in 100K miles, although it did drink diesel towards the end. My Nissan Xtrail on the other hand was unreliable crap.
 
The most reliable motor I had was my Isuzu Trooper 3.1D badged as Bighorn (grey import) next to my P38 Vogue, I did nothing apart from services and a set of tyres in 4yrs, then I got hit by the LEZ,
So I went back to petrol and bought the Vogue, now have Merc Ml 430 nice engine, no issues in 2yrs but bloody harsh compared to a P38.
