Now i can understand someone wanting to get the most for their car but do some people just dream up numbers ?

1981 LAND ROVER 109" - 6 CYL BLUE | eBay

now either im missing something or series' values have rocketed overnight...
i mean correct me if im wrong (usually am :p) but i monitor fleabay regularly and have never seen one like that for that money

I'll never understand the logic of advertising a car without MOT and saying it will pass easily, just get it bloody tested then cos no one will believe you lol

I like this bit:

'Vehicle is in absolutely immaculate condition inside and out and looks brilliant and is rare in this original condition. Some scratches on the rear door.'

So its not immaculate then is it!!!!

I have just realised why its so expensive, look on the floor there is hardly any oil leaks, obviously they have spent a fortune stopping them either that or its not really a landrover...next they will be telling us it has no solihull spiders in it either.

Didn't know Land Rover did a "2.5 litre petrol engine" in a 6-cylinder variant!

Must be very rare indeed!

just googlficated, and in the Ad its down as a 2.6, which the straight 6 was (ok the description differs from the info, but its there)

Well the driver's footwell looks dodgy under the chequer plate for a start.

The only reason one might pay a little bit over the odds is if it is a genuine 46k miler.
