Evening All, just got myself a 110 Tithonus, but as this is my first defender, have a few questions.

1. Can I bolt on power steering from a defender that has it as standard, if so, what bits do I need.

2. The 67hp engine is a little too old school for me, I've read up on 200 and 300 TDi conversions, so is there anyone near me that can do that? I've had a long look and all the traders that offer this service are 150 to 200 miles north of me.

3. The steering compared to my Navara seems a little vague, is this just a Land Rover thing?

Thanks :)

1 If you do the engine conversion then fitting PAS becomes a simple project. Otherwise you'll need to change the Pulley. and alternator bracket. Oh and fit a Power steering box, pump & associated pipework.

2 300 TDi conversion is the simplest of the 2 Look here.. Landrover 110 engine page

Hi 2.0_Hippo,

You could be the answer to my AUX problem.. Please let this be the case :-D

Right I have a 2003 RR HSE TD6 AUTO with 6 CD changer.. could you please tell me how you managed to feed the AUX into your car using the CD changer without losing the functionality of the cd player.

Wanna have a play with it as soon as possible

This will help me big time!

Cheers buddy
