That's very nice and neat - good job :)

You didn't take Nodge's advice then - that the ridges are there to make it non-slip, therefore if you ground out on a rock, you are more likely to get stuck than if you had the smooth side down.

Either way up it'll offer a lot more protection than the flimsy plastic try - and that's it primary purpose!

I know about the ridges but the sump was made 1 year ago (cut and bend),and to be honest I do not think will doing extreme off road......the best part is you can use the hydraulic floor jack directly under the sump....
