Nope just got in after scaring clients underground...... Has to be done and soooooooooo much fun.

FFS :D

It’s simpke

1. Join GLASS and get access to Trailwise and reps like Parl D
2. Join All Terrain but not really much use our part of the country
3. Join the Facebook groups and go along on trips ( please god not mine in a Freelander )
4. Read Paul’s document and do your own work.
5. Join one of the many commercial trip organisers

I would suggest 5, they are paid to take **** from customers and worry about less capable vehicles on the lanes. The rest of us aren’t.

Thank you for you reply...simple response is no to all.. othet than 4 as other than Paul part I already do it....
As to commerial heck know I'd rather join GLASS than go with something like Kankku!!!!! And we are not joining GLASS

Well unfortunately ALL the Lanes I could tell you about in Wales are all too rough and ready for a Freelander.

Cheers

Why pay for the trip?, why not join a local club and go along with them? Plus join GLASS.

Cheers

Yeah it was a toss up between either to be fair. Probably will just go with GLASS but not on Facebook. I did venture onto staffs4x4 a few years ago, I'll have a look again :)

Cos they don’t want to join GLASS or Facebook :D

Yeah Facebook can suck a big one but fully intend joining GLASS later this year ;)

No never done be one but they do a lot of runs with shiny vehicles etc. There are some good ones. Not all like Kankku

I’ll take you out round Yorkshire if it helps

That would be awesome mate, drop me a p.m when youre thinking of going out again and I'll try and get up to ya!:)

For some people it’s the right option :D. And they don’t want to join GLASS or Facebook. Going alone is asking for a LZIR epic :D

Repeating yourself there SueW...LOL. I can understand some people with shiny cars paying for a trip, as a one time "adventure", but for someone who wants to get into laning,IMHO, finding your local groups and finding one that is a good fit is the best way to go.

Problem nowadays is that FB is the go to platform for a lot of small clubs.

Cheers

Mention Kankku as they seem to think they own the lanes and not even walkers should be on them...

I agree but the OP doesn’t like that option So go it alone or pay through the nose :D.

Repeating was due to my replies disappearing. Dammed iPhones
