We got some yesterday, then turned to ice affecting vehicles trying to get up the hills which backed up the traffic just in time for rush hour. Some routes through Durham were at a standstill or very slow for a couple of hours or more.
A normal jouney home which would take 20 mins with no traffic or 40 mins with rush hour traffic, took three and a half hours last night. (Well OK, I did spend over 2 hours of that in Sainsbury's cafe with a coffee and 4x4 mag waiting until the traffic started flowing a bit outside)
