I have some very good snow chains for my Disco, work a treat. However, the installation is advertised as an 'under 3mins installation' yet I've never done it in less than 10mins - a right messy affair!

Usually, I have to get a torch, plastic floor mat, and end up getting covered in ****e!?

Anyone here have any tips for attaching chains?

fook it's a doddle of a job 3 minutes a wheel is probably about right.

Oh and snow chains are great in mud as well.

Next time any of you smart-arses happen to pop over to the Auvergne, do pop in for coffee... :)

It's 1100+mts in the snowy mountains here. If you can attach a set of snow chains in around 3mins without getting covered in ****e and freezing your nuts off I'll treat you to dinner!

used to put chains on me panda 4x4 when i lived in the alps.Fookin freezing ****e job....8 or ten minuets a set or so.depends if its minus 25 celcius tho that was a bit slower....
