Hi all,
Anyone know what type snorkel I'd need for my n/a 1985 110?
And any other stuff like breather bits?

Have a look on ebay. I would have thought any Defender snorkel would be good as long as it's on the same side as your airbox. With it passing through your wing where the plastic grill is it's just a case of connecting the spigot on the inside of the snorkel to your airbox. Just make sure you have a good seal on any hose connections and seal up the little dangley bit that allows water to run out of the airbox. Then fit a set of raised axle, gearbox and timing cover breathers. When you go wading don't forget to put in the plug to the clutch housing...
It's the big auto jumble at Newbury Show Ground this sunday. 99% sure you'd find someone selling the wading plug and breather kits. You might find a snorkel too!

Personally i'm not a fan of plastic snorkels. Knowing my luck i'd damage it without realising then plunge into water thinking i was safe and then have the engine suck in water through the damaged snorkel followed by silence...

Just search for "defender snorkel" and "breather kits" or go along to a Land Rover Show near you. Breather kits are ALWAYS 'show specials'!

Just saying... my all original 2.5n/a doesn’t have the side wing air intake. It has the big canister behind the headlight.

In which case you need the ‘hard to get hold of’ 2.5na through wing top snorkel

Sure, i'd really like to set mine up as close to original as possible, and your original pics would be a great help

Here are a couple of photos:

The last photo shows the air intake. This just points at the back of the front sidelight. So top front corner, of left hand wing. There is about a 2” gap from the end of the pipe. It isn’t just a straight forward pipe though.
I will take a couple of photos of the air filter can as well for you.

Just to clarify. I don’t have a snorkel. My vehicle is original. Has no snorkel and no side air intake.
