Anyone know where you can get just these parts rather than buying a full kit.
I've spoken with a few 4x4 centres now and they won't supply seperately but mine are about to fall apart and have large jubilee clipps instead of the proper black clamps where the pipe sections join.

better still....

someone will know so knocked these up on iphone

Yeh possibly but would prefer to just find a source of the parts i need if i can.
I'm trying to correct as many of the bodges on this landy as i can so don't really want to add my own.

Looks like a Mantec, but there are so many copies it's anyone's guess as to exactly what it is!

Might be an idea looking at an electrical wholesaler for large size P-brackets, used to hold large cabling onto walls etc. I've never seen any brackets being sold separately.

Just got ahold of mantec
Mantec | Quality Land Rover Accessories
Spoke to a guy named Nick and he's sending me out new brackets and clamps.
he's more than happy to supply any spare parts that anyone might need and you cant ask more than that. £10 delivered to me which is much better than trying to make something up.

Big thanks guys in getting to what make it was and to you Tim for pointing me in direction of web site.

Problem solved.

Thats not a bad price, loads of companies I deal with charge silly money for spares like that, nice to see a company giving decent customer service...

Think my daftest is a £3.50 part having £25 "handling" charge on it :eek::eek:

No worries, I'll be on here for your expertise at some point!!

unfortunately a replacement top mushroom was £45 +vat or i would have had one of them at same time seeing mine is rusting a little.
Not right now though at that money. Can def source one of them cheaper on ebay.

Looks the spit of mine, which is a Bearmach...which may well be a Mantec copy? Either way, it's another option if you need it.

cheers fitz.
hopefully the ones i just brought will do the job and i expect the mushroom will be less costly from bearmach so will take a look.

might be a silly question, do they sell air filters for those mushroom tops, ive got a safari snorkel, that way i could do away with the old steel air box out of my 1990 defender, ive just had a 200tdi conversion

i dont believe they do. they are just an inlet protector that then flows the air to your existing air box.
i'm sure someone more knowledgeable will add to, or correct me, with that though.
