Hi,

In the very cold weather earlier in the year, I managed to snap the drivers side interior door handle, and now need to replace it. When taking the cover off, I notice that the small white piece of plastic that retains the normally attached cable has also snapped.

So, my question is, how difficult is this to replace? I'm guessing the whole handle mechanism will need to be swapped?

Have tried the site search functionality to no avail, so sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, and thanks for your help.

There's not much to the interior handles. I'm sure I took mine off to make it easier to get a new cable in when my cable snapped in the cold weather but I don't remember any particular issues with that part of it.

You'd probably be best off just getting a complete handle on fleabay just make sure it includes the white clip.

Many thanks Kooky, something for me to have a go at over the weekend.

If anyone has one of these, or a suggestion of the best place to get one let me know, as I'm not finding one on Ebay.

give me a call - the door handle pop rivets into place and is an easy fix.

Eh? Not on mine it doesn't - two screws. Unless you mean the handle itself without the surround plate, but why would you only replace that? Much easier to replace the entire assembly.

RRB was kind enought to check this whilst I was on the phone with him, and yes, it's just two screws

Just fitted this, and I have to say the only thing easier I've done is fit new boot straps. Thanks for the help and advice guys, and thanks RRB for a seriously fast and helpful service, big thumbs up

Hi i have a similar sort of issue but also the outside handle is really temptramental so want to replace that as well, also is has no key lock in it, but after searching ebay cant really find anything I got one guy with the handle and he was asking for 120!! anyone know where I can get new handles at a reasonable price

I'm sure I read somewhere that they're not that expensive from a stealer.
