A photo and your location would be good. I have had many good results by going for a cup of tea thinking about it then using this. Ridgid Screw Extractor Set | Buy Online | Ridgid Tools Direct Its expensive but mine has paid for its self many times over. Note these are straight fluted extractors not the easy out type which can cause more trouble as they tend to flare the stud out. Only use these as a last resort https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIAAXTUcwRU I have also used these but only really any good for nuts and bolts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZNLimU7Sl0 A local engineering firm garage may take them out for you if you don't want to have a go your self

D D2nut New Member Jan 2, 2015 #4 You may be better off buying a new housing. I had to replace mine. Found them for about £50 on ebay. Remember to replace o-rings
