But I can tell you something very similar happened to my landy a few years ago on a run to South France, intermitantly kicking out a lot a black smoke on hard acceleration...took it to a French dealer who went straight to the problem...slit hose on the underside...we couldnt see it, doesnt mean it wasnt there...Hope you find the problem soon!
