Hi, I HAVE A 1989 LANDY 110, WITH 2.5 TD ENGINE. I HAVE OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS HAD HUGE PLUMES OF BLUE SMOKE ON START UP AND WHILST IDLING IN TRAFFIC.
THIS WEEK I HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING:-
CHANGED INJECTION PUMP
REMOVED HEAD AND CHECKED PISTONS AND BORES (PRETTY GOOD CONSIDERING AGE AND MILEAGE)
FITTED NEW HEAD GASKET AND CLEANED UP HEAD, COULD`NT SEE ANY PROBLEMS THERE EITHER !!
CHEAKED ALL BREATHING PIPES
NEW TIMING BELT
TIMING OKAY

BUT !!!!!!!!!!
I STILL HAVE THE BLOODY BLUE SMOKE, ANY IDEA ANYONE, I`M STARTING TO PULL MY HAIR OUT AND I AIN`T GOT MUCH LEFT, PLEASE ADVISE . THANX

Fit a turbo repair kit.

Experts say you can't DIY repair turbos.

Thats' why Garret supply repair DIY kits!

About £50 and easy to do. It would take an hour or so.

Good fun, and a whole lot less than a "RECON" turbo for £500, which is someone else's blown turbo fitted with a £50 repair kit.

Blue = oil smoke.

So as Charles says, turbo seals.
