Thanks will that fit on a 2.25 diesel and give the correct readings? I assume i would also need to maintain the old switch to activate the light on the dash as well?

Not sure , but you could ring them, this looks like it’s suited to your gauge


Holden do gauges, transmitters and adapters.

On mine I fitted a T piece adapter where the sender goes in , to use a mechanical oil gauge and keeping the switch to operate light
 
Guys just to let you all know, I have found a Smiths oil pressure gauge on eBay for £20 so once I receive it and test it I will let you all know how I get on.
