Some git smashed my rear windscreen last night then legged it.
Found a lump of chalk about 2 inches across in the boot this morning.

Bastard(s).

Do not need all this rain too; otherwise I would be sleeping in it with a baseball bat.

I had the rear window from a Chrysler 1984 mini van in ~1995 and paid $5 for a police report. Did not file an insurance claim, got a replacement window from a junk yard and fixed it for a lot less than the $100 deductible

You have to pay to file a police report??

Must be the time of year as my rear screen shattered, (all by its self), last week whilst I was working in my workshop!

She is parked at the rear of the house as I have stripped out all of the interior and I am currently undertaking a deep clean and repairing a puncture hole in the passenger footwell.

I am now considering the purchase of a very cheap upper tailgate in the hope that I can get the glass out and replace it into my tailgate.

My tailgate is in good condition whereas the one that I have been offered is not very pretty.

Alternatively I could simply bolt on the replacement tailgate, (just to keep the rain out), whilst I look for a better one, (in green), and at a reasonable price and as close to me as possible!
