It's a Disco 2, 2004 vintage TD5. There's a small leak of diesel - I think from the offside sort of middle of the engine compartment. I've also got poor performance from the engine until the turbo kicking in. It's not so noticable on the level, but with a bit of a load on or uphill the torque is very poor.
Before I go and investigate, my immediate thoughts were that it'll be the fuel pressure regulator.
Is the power problem likely due to a leaking FPR, or do I have two problems?
Or could it be something else altogether?
