I have a few small dents here and there on Pumkin.

Is it possible to tap them out or is there another method?

Thanks.

I pulled a few small dents out using a glue gun and some thickish dowel. put hot glue on the dowel place dowel in center of dent leave to dry (takes seconds) and pull off the paint doesnt come with it and it will get the dent out. If its not perfect first time just keep doing it ... Worked for me on the Disco,

Nice tip :)

My dent removal guy will do Defenders. The last one l used wouldn't.

He removed half a dozen small dents, three on the top of the O/S wing, one above the headlight, and one on the side of the front wing, for £20.

ln the three months since then l have somehow gained another two dents on the top of the N/S wing and one in the front panel, so l guess l need to either a/ call him again or b/ forget it

A rubber toilet unblocker ( plunger ) will do the job as long as the sucker will cover the dent, done this hundreds of times on cars but normally on landy's you leave them there as it ads carecter :)

Yes I would be interested to see where your dent guy is as he sounds great value.

Can these guys remove dents on the curved surface of the door as that's where the majority of my dents are.

I will ask him if he wants extra Land Rover work. But he is based in Stockport, Cheshire so l am guessing he won't travel that far from there.

Defenders look better with dents! I'm really funny about paint work and dents but on a defender they look good :)

Is it very difficult to change the door skin?

Not that I am going to do it but perhaps when its time for a re-paint.

More fiddly than hard, depending on how much adhesive was used to bond the skin in the first place

Personally I'm living with the dents!
