Hi All.
Sorry if this is rehashing previous posts ... been seraching and have not found out if I am correct in my assumptions (and considering I work in telecomms - that could be dangerous !!)
My disco (2001) TD5's ride height is fine. If left over night or for two days the bum tends to go right down. Wouldn't worry normally but I see that the passenger side is lower than drivers. I park on a uneven surface so thought that must be the cause. So changed the direction in which I park and turns out passengers side is still further down. So that scraps that idea.
I climbed underneath and saw that the passenger bag has made dark marks on the bottom stopper ?!?
So am I right in thinking that this;
a) has nothing to do with the sensor as ride height is fine.
b) is most probably a leak somewhere in the air spring ?
Are there any other possibilities ?
From what I read earlier it only goes down that far due to leaking and drivers side is not leaking ?!?
Please let me know if I am on the right track here.
Thanks
Stuart
