No towbar fitted to the Harley yet, he's getting one. They are not made for the other bike, as it won't pull the skin off a rice pudding, having as much torque as screen washer motor. :D:D:D

I had a DBD32. But a mate of mine seized his 500 and snapped the conrod. So i got his head, barrel and carb. Had it bored and fitted it to my 350 bottom end. Jesus Christ that was quick. Not a lot until 35 MPH then bye bye Triumph Bonnevilles. Won a lot of cokes with that trick. :);)

God Tony, memories came flooding back. Bought the Goldie about 8 yrs ago because I always wanted one. Found this example with 24k on the clock and had been in a garage for 10 years without moving. Nice project, brakes, battery and a carb rebuild sounded amazing and flew through the MOT.:):)

Think that might be a given thing. Not going to argue with that. After all the Vincent was the fastest production bike on the planet until about 1974. :D:D

If the Rover 4.6 had the same power to cc ratio as the DBD34 Gold Star it would have 341.32 BHP. Not a poxy 221. :D:D:D

did i hear someone say l322 beat a p38 and a p38 beat a classic??

seeing as sooo off topic then i say put your p38 or 322 up against either of my classics..no contest...

anyway...i have been thinking about pinning my 4.6..its currently perfect...and i would like it to stay that way.(has a LR service replacement engine)
yes it can be done with sump off..looks quite easy..any thoughts ?

Yours are not standard classics are they. Be careful going around corners in them if they were standard. Standard classics were pure ****e round corners.
