hi everyone got a 1996 range dse, and recently i have noticed a slight wobble when braking at 50mph any other speed fine but at dead on 50a little wobble?? any ideas thanks

Could be warped discs. Maybe that at 50mph this is their resonant frequency where they vibate the most and you feel the vibration more at this particular speed.

mine did the same, its got the 18" hurricane alloys on and the backs of the spokes are sortof hollow, they had filled with a lovely mixture of clay and inch diameter pea gravel, which set like concrete and somewhat unbalanced the wheel!

Cheers for your replys guys im only 25 so not looking forward to a wobble at 50! the thing is it just passed it mot last week?? you would 'think' they would have picked up if the discs are warped.. thanks!!

I don't get a wobble but I do find that on long journeys I get pins and needles in my hands, I guess that there is a very small vibration that is only noticable after long periods, think I will check out the hollow part of my hurricanes and failing that get it balanced.
