Out of interest Buster, how much 'room' does all that take up? Is it a permanent set up, or something you slide in and out when planning on camping in th vehicle?
It's just a piece of ply with some legs that fits between the wheel boxes so's it's all level. Ah only stick it in when sleepin' in it and is easily taken out. If ye give me a minute ah'll take a photie;)

Here ye go....

Nowt special, but has done us well fur a couple of years. Plannin' on making another as ah've just stuck plyboard and rubber mattin' on me wheel boxes;)

I've spent a few nights sleeping in the back of my old 90 SW (now long gone =( ) and it wasn't unpleasant. I just cut a sheet of MDF / Plyboard down to size and laid it on top of the benches. They gave a nice bit of spring. Only problem was I had to sleep diagonally with my feet up and over the rear bulkhead. Woke up warm and damp though!

i'm doing scotland in a couple of months time. in my 90 strecher bed over the passenger seat ammo boxs to level the back tryed it felt ok with 2 sleeping bags see how i go. dont know if i can find a dog in scotland but i know you can get crabs on the beach.! ha! ha!:p

This is interesting, I always wrote off 90s as being too stumpy for sleeping full length in...

I need a 110 for all the gear I stuff in it though :)

Like the wooden bed, there's me sleeping on a roll mat and sleeping bag in the forces.
Wooden bed looks the way forward though :)

Now my 110 csw is back on the road, I'm considering doing something similar - any ideas?

First day back on the road and one of the brake lines started leaking - rusted through - and then the speedo cable snapped. Oh well, the joys of owning a landy!
