Hi I'm looking at a piece of furniture in Lincolnshire and putting out the feelers for a way of transporting it..hopefully in the next couple of days.

Gahhh my wife just did similar, 140 for furniture 120 to deliver it.....There is a thread on here recommending a courier firm close to Withams which may be your best bet.

Look on the Shiply web site,you get delivery firms outbidding each other to try and get the work.

It was a Jacobean sideboard, 5 ft tall and 4 ft wide and probably weighed the same as a sherman tank..
