Still waiting for 6BT the Movie starring your 101...
Its coming. Its all done, just gotta get it from his computer onto either my Ipad or YouTube so I can share it. Here's a shot of us deep in sand last weekend south of Adelaide at 42 mile crossing in the Coorong, trying to get to higher ground so we can go back and rescue the bogged Rodeo that was at the water line!! Think he's just visible above my canvas!!

Hi all! Not been here for a while, and not a huge amount has changed with the 101. What I have done is finish and fit the new bumper! With 4 x 100w 24volt headlights, I can actually see at night... Stopping to avoid what I can see is another matter!!! Here's a pic of the bumper!

Well, I think its safe to say that the diesel conversion is well tested and proven!! I've covered 10000 kms now since fitting it, and a fair part of that would be in some fairly remote parts of South Australia. Last month we drove over from Adelaide to Melbourne to catch up with a few other Land Rover nuts in the Aussie forum. Here's a shot of the 101's lined up! :)

That's looking proper smart

Getting there... The plans are a full hard top, roof rack, and a re spray..... Thinking white (some will dislike), with all the features like bumper, tanks, wheel steps, wheel carrier, roof rack, twin snorkels etc done in black.... One snorkel will be for the engine, the other for forced air into the cabin to pressurise it in the hopes that it'll stop the bull dust ingress on the long dirt road journeys...

use 2 snorkels for that cummins , the do like alot of air, more the better;) Use a 3rd for cabin air

Its piping that air from the side of the windscreen to the inlet that's the issue.. Not too many routes to run it with a 101.... :)
