Just curiosity, but who makes these engines. Not Land Rover I presume, they are just too low volume.

Aha, 2 Transit engines bolted together. Well if they are as well designed as the Mk6 Transit engine expect trouble with cam chains. Or maybe they have belt driven cams? I thought Ford shared diesel technology with Peugeot

the tdv6 is a peugeot citroen deisgned engine which they sold to jag and ford which has been modified to fit the land rover the evolution is the v8 as far is i have been told finger crossed next stop will be a tdv10 to whoop the vw v10 diesel
