I plug welded the tops and then seam welded everywhere else. A day a side was all it took, well once the British weather cleared lol
 
The only option to do a proper job is to remove the quarter panels of you're doing rear end work.

I'm suprised you didn't tbh Ian...

Well I knew I was going to chequer plate so an few seconds with a grinder was easier lol.

Plus back then I didn't know half the stuff I do now. It's amazing what you can learn in 7 months:D
 
That's true mate.

It's just that without removing my quarters I couldnt have rebuilt my rear arches in the way I did. If yours was just floor work then perhaps you could just about get away with it, but I had to repair the arch tub tops, cutting about half of them away, it simply needed welding from the outside aswell and this is impossible with the quarters on!
