well as the pipe from an intercooler to a turbo is under negative pressure. due to the fact that Air is sucked thru the duct. your eggsplanation of this is gonna be interesting??
intercooler td4 be after the turbo ..
hose pipe From turbo to intercooler ( td4 ) ain't under negative pressure ..
connection from induction ( i.e filter assembly etc ) To the turbo is solid ( as far as know .. )
pipe/hose From turbo to intercooler seems to be more of a solid construction
than the hoses from the intercooler thru to the inlet ducting
it seems to be more like the after-market silicone hoses .. i.e. stiffer construction
those after market silicone hose 'kits' .. only replace the rubber hoses From the intercooler to the inlet ..
~~~~~~
disclaimer ..
i've not taken the engine out .. or squeezed in between the bulkhead and turbo
to actually see the type of connections there ..
can update when i sort out a suitable mirror / torch .. ..
cummins 'n cats etc have solid ducting .. induction coolers engine mounted ..
some bigger diesels have pre-coolers and aftercoolers ..
looks like the td4 has an intercooler .. go figure terminology ..
