So I bought this Land Rover Defender with a commercial:confused: type body, no windows and no seats even though that's what I wanted and was advised to get [CSW] on here:(
Now I've the task of fitting side windows and a couple more seats in the back for the kid's and hoping you can advise as to best routes knowing some of you must have done it;)

The plan is:
Decent side windows that only do the front half of the body [up to top hat stiffener].
Seats in the front half of the back
New bulkhead across centre of back in line with top hat stiffener that will be half dog guard but will need a door or opener so kids can get to rear seats in front half.

Hope that makes sense to someone and hopefully they've found decent windows [don't leak of rattle] that look right and even better if they were made for land rovers.
Also how did you do your seats:eek:

Cheers all
Brian.
P.S. post as much as you like so I can reply and get my post count to 50 and place wanted ad's;)

will still be a hard top on V5

I guess so though getting the insurance on line the reg number brought details up listing it as having five seats:confused:
It does only have the front two but as we're hoping to end up with five we wasn't going to argue with them;)

If it was a five door fitting seats would be easy wouldn't it;)

But you're right, I should have said [typical newbie error:eek:]

No not rally there are some 5 door commercials solid sides and only front seats. making it easy to get stuff in and out, of the back cargo area;)

Hopefully this link will take you to some pictures that I've just took, it'll help with all the things I've forgot to mention:eek:

they do make a bulk head bar where you remove the bulk head you got so as it is easier for kids to get into the back. and they do make bucket seats that are forward facing to fit just behind the front seats. And believe there is a flip seat base for the passenger front seat to make it easier to get into the back

Mmmm! that's interesting, hopefully someone on here has done this or part of and will put a picture up;)

Thanks

Brian
