What a nightmare trying to fit side steps to car them rivets things there must have been a better design than that

They made them difficult to fit so not so many people could make their car look shite by having them. :D:D:D

They were fitted to mine by a previous owner and they don't offend me too much. I can't see the point in them without a grab rail on the roof. Then the ranger could tell me where the game was through the window as I drove blindly through the African long grass.

Don't go over a bump though or he will fall on his arse as the rusted through mountings snap. They all do eventually. :D:D:D

I wouldn't av them but the other half has arthritis just help her get in a bit

That's a genuine reason for them. But i think they spoil the lines of the car as do lamp guards and bull bars. Each to their own though i suppose.

+1 especially in the case of a RRC. Mine had steps & a bull-bar fitted when I bought the car & I couldn't wait to get them off. 'Ere indoors complained (she's only 5'+) but CAN board without steps, just has to put a bit more effort into it!

Well done! Stops her arse getting too big ... :)
