Thought i'd take advantage of the dry weather today & remove my side steps to fit some new aluminium steps. What a nightmare!
Removed the steps easily enough - practically no metal frame left & just about held together by the plastic..... & the muck these things collect is unreal.
Anyway, struggled to remove the brackets from the chassis - 3 bolts are just spinning the rivnuts. Is there a way of removing the rivnuts as i cant see how you can get a drill in there to drill out?
Fitting a new serp belt for the first time this morning was a doddle at least
