Hello all
I want to take the side repeaters off to clean them out. Bulbs work - but seems to be stuff growing in there
Anyway I read the book and it says simply 'push to the right and they pop out' (for bulb replacement)
I have pushed, and they don't seem to move alot. Do I need to coax them a little more with harder pushing or is there a trick to removing them. Don't want to get a scaffold pole in there for fear of damage to them or the wing

5.26 Push the sdie repeater light to the right to release the retaining clip, then free the bulb holder from the light unit. Correct Bloody Haynes! Sounds like a build up of mud, presssure clean and try again. I'm going to try to get mine out now!Yipppe both mine came out but rubber shaking seal has died since 1997 fitting! They will come out with a little wiggle but the mounts will be old and brittle now.

The lamp covers also have a hole at the bottom, are yours upside down perhaps?

managed to get them out now.. just pressed right a little harder. How they fill up with what looks like vegetable matter I don' t know!

I put a 'O' ring round mine before re-fitting to take up the slack and hopefully keep some of that caterpillar poo out for a bit longer.
