Hey guys I am planning to do a side exhaust on my disco. And have got a few ideas in my head on how I might do it but wondered if any of you guys have pics of yours. Under the car and what it looks like from the side. Would be very greatfull

Cheers goz

Just cut it off after the centre joint , leave a few inches ! Then cut up the rest of what's left using the bends etc weld it up , tacking it first is wise!! Then when it sits nice and doesn't touch anywhere add a mount or two ! Using the old bits again ! When you can see where it exits then cut a hole ! Bit bigger than pipe size! Start it up and smile !!!!!!!

don't wanna be a kill joy, cos I did think of this once. but I thought issues with burning ones leg getting in. car parks and some else burning their leg, and if laning or off roading, dents and bends etc.

tratterers dunt care about hurting themselves, other folk or small animals that stray into their path.

not wiv an eggsauce anyroad :p :D

Im planning mine at the mo. Im running a straight through middle with sports rear section. My plan is to leave as much in as possible and just cut the back box off,on ebay theres a place selling 45° and 90° 3"bends. I was going to go for the 45° and weld it on and cut a hole in the rear panel for it. Might have to fit middle box back on,have to see how loud it it. Good reference would be auf wiedesehen pets builds of his awesome disco.

Did min the other week, easy to do. I got a 2 1/2" 45*bend off ebay,a couple of clamps and nicked a bit of stainless off a mate. Straight through exhaust now, doesn't sound much louder than the britpart sports exhaust I cut out.Only advice would be to clean your landy before hand:)
