Hello
I've a Disco 2 Metropolis auto that has started to shake at low revs. It tends to be once it's warmed up. If I kick down on the throttle it changes down a gear or two and the shake goes away.
It's almost as if it's about to stall.
Looking around here there's mention of similar symptoms which relate to the torque converter. Thing is, mine is quite temperamental and the problem doesn't happen all the time which in my infinite and hopeful ignorance would suggest it's not that ???
Another suggestion is that it's oil on the ECU. Following the great instructions on here I cleaned the wiring loom which did indeed have oil on it. It seemed to subside a bit but certainly hasn't gone away.
Is there a chance I haven't cleaned it enough. Should I stop being tight and just go and buy a new loom? Baby on the way so don't really want to take it to LR if I can help it.
Any help very much appreciated.
