Roof racks a no go on some Chris. One was a tight fit for width too. Made chainsaw alley look like the M6

Did a shropshire laning trip the other day with a few mates, the Cwms was pretty easy, the recent rain may have cause some damage though. is there still a right of way over it? it doesn't look like it on the map, drove past what seemed like the land owners and they had no problem.

At the moment yes its still open BUT..... if you read the post 471 about the proposed development you will see they want to close it from the South and pedestrianize it .
I suppose you could still drive it from the Cardington end but then you would have to turn round and go back ,
Not much use /fun there.

Im suprised there wasnt more snow around. I would have tried to come along if my disco wasnt playing up!
You would have been more than welcome Pete. Especially as you were the original poster of this thread.
Cheers jack, my disco decided to snap the rocker shaft and pulled a stud out of the head on the way up to Telford. Then the heater and wipers packed up so I've spent most of the week sorting it out. A garage did a repair on the head but it still needs sorting properly and it still has to get us home tommorow!! Next time I'm up I will deffo give you guys a shout' hopefully it will be running a bit better then

Its not the snow you have to worry about its the ice on the Burway that has caught people out this week, even today there are two cars abandoned half way up from stretton
and the fire brigade had to rescue folks .
Although some half wit managed to get up to High Park to do doughnuts !!
