Haha, Stanford-Le-hope is indeed full of chavs but I am not one of them haha

I'm a 22 year old plant operator and I used to work on a farm no I'm well into land rovers...

As for my thread I just thought it'd be nice and a nice way to start chatting...

I have indeed looked through all the galleries and I have seen some sweet cars in there ;)
 
Oh sweet! See the issue I have with my 300 is that because it is jacked up so high now, the tow bar is useless lol... I am going to make it adjustable some how so I can tow my car transporter trailer again but I wanted ideas as to how I should do it lol...

That was coming back from Lake District and North Yorks, Hawes. We use the caravan at least once a month, often a lot more!

'cos I live where I work (School Caretaker) it's easy to get away, even just a few miles, to just be away from work!
 
Haha yeah, you should of seen what it looks like with a trailer on my 300 as it is haha, the back of it is touching the floor lol.
 
Heh, it was still a bit high at that, I've since added another 2" drop plate, bolted and welded on and painted same so it looks 'proper' ... it's actually just as strong as original 'cos it's thicker material, and braced more, but I think it's a frowned on practise .. ;)
 
This was why I swapped the 'normal' tow bar drop plate to a removable ... I kept hitting and bending it off-roading, and this plate was the third!!

Lol yeah I can see how it may be... That's what I was going to do... I'm a fully coded welder and I know what the strength of metals and my welds would be so I'm pretty sure if I did do that it would be more than strong enough :D

It's just the legal side I wasn't sure of lol if I was to be stopped haha... They'd be like that's a bodge job! :p
