Hy Scott,
The question really should be "Do I want ?"
Only you can call this one. There are websites rubbishing almost every make / model of car that has ever been made.
Part of your question, you answer yourself. I presume you mean local Land Rover dealer ? and dealer APPROVED Freelander ?
If the vehicle is 'used', have there been any of the faults you mention found already ?
Ask the dealer.
If it’s APPROVED, is the dealer offering a warranty with the vehicle ?
What does the warranty cover ? Parts, parts and labour, three months, six months, what ?
I would expect a warranty with a dealer approved vehicle of this sort of price.
Is there any service history with /of the vehicle ?
You really MUST quiz the dealer about these things, and don’t forget, there are plenty more Freelanders out there.
As the prospective buyer, you are in a position of strength. Don’t fall for any dealership crap, and DON’T be afraid to push the dealer to the very limit.
