Just been watching a second hand car show and the low prices were scarey.

I'm going to look at a 1996 disco, 75K miles, scratchy metalic paint (hit a few twigs off road), auto box, Es, leather driver seat not cracked, rear got a big scratch on it.

If all turns out honest and straight, what do you think its worth?

Yeah, I know it's a hard question, but go on have a go.

I paid 4700 for mine, 96 P 107k on the clock, 300 tdi. Its not an es, but condition wise its bang on, no real marks or dents anywhere. That was in February. Mine books about 5 or there abouts with mileage adjustment, but you will pay for all the goodies like leather etc etc.
Id look around 5/5500 for it in that condition.

Knock off £1000>£1500 or more if it's a v8. Just paid £6100 for a TD5 with 107,00 on clock GS good condition.
