I have been offered a 2003 Freelander Kalahari 3 door Manual 1.8 Petrol engine with long MOT and only 60000 miles for £1750. Should I Buy it?
I have only had TD4 Freelander before, always steering away from buying the Petrol engine variant, but good TD4s that I can afford are far and few between and so I have no option, unless YOU KNOW DIFFERENT?
Should I buy it or has someone out there got a nice TD4 or a 300 Tdi Disco, Diesel, preferably Automatic for less than £2000 let me know.
Cheers

Ask my mate Matt. He might have a Td4 for sale. He deals in Freelanders and had a couple of facelifts in the other day, but I think they were both petrol 1.8's. Known him a while and he always comes up trumps for me.
Call him on 07538240684 during working hours or send him a text. He might not always answer as he's always busy with customers vehicles, but keep trying and you'll get through.

iv been in same boat recently couldnt find a "nice"td4 within budget (same as you) or within reasonable distance 150 miles.

so i bit the bullet n bought a 1.8 with 73k, needs new tyres has a coolant leak (iv still to find) and possibly vcu..depends what your willing to do etc

If the cylinder head gasket has been replaced properly, go for it, otherwise knock £500 off for it to be done STRAIGHT AWAY
