HGF is most commonly caused by the water in the UK and coolant mix everyone uses here (50/50). Toyota had issues with HGF failures in the UK with the Hilux 2.4TD which they never had anywhere else in the world.

The air faults I put down to cheap ass owners not replacing parts when they are due. I saw a 95 P38 for sale which still had original airbags on it (according to seller). The owner saw this as a mark of it's reliability. I see it as a common problem in the UK, too many owners refuse to get vehicles serviced when they are due or parts replaced when a problem first develops, usually waiting for catastrophic failure first.

Standard mix is 50/50 here also. See we don't have Hilux or there diesels here
Toyotas are all petrol as most, only diesels are the VW's, and Audi has just released there first diesel here I believe
 
Update on my continued problems, apparently it's just a switch that is faulty which controls some of the warning lights, according to the LR dealership there is nothing wrong with my oil or the hand brake. So this bill will be around £230.
 
I've seen this many times. People coming to pick their RR sports up & they're crying outside because their bill is £2k+.
Range rovers are not a cheap car. It works out on average approx £3k a year to maintain these cars properly.
On the 2005/6/7 models, the brake pipes are indeed coming under the spot light on the MOT's.

Picked up my RRS and I got about a mile down the road and the warning lights came on, the difference his time is the lights now stay on when the key is removed, took it back, they have had it for 3 days now, still not fixed.
