is it expensive to get things shot blasted ?

Was thinking rear trailing arms. A frame, etc

Any rough guides ?

about £60 the pair

Price that up as the big Bertha blaster you got and the compressor, two bags of sand and then the convenience of being able to do what you want, when you want.

Buy the gear and do as much as you want, when ever you want.

still havent decided on replacement media - i have narrowed it down to iron silicate or Medium Glass grit

Using a mesh grid. I pass the crud through a 4mm and then a 2mm sieve into a bucket, and then through a domestic sieve into the blast pot.
Always drop the crud from a reasonable height, so that any dust can be blown away.

Don't know really.. just took it to a guy who does shotblasting

been trying one of these wet blasters.. attach to a pressure washer and it feeds the blast medium through with the water Second picture is a really old calliper I had lying around, and the 3rd is the inside of a defender wing
