Morning folks,
Now i have reached the point where next on my list is are the shock absorbers and turrets, question is should I get the originals or those cool looking off road types?
Also has anyone experience with Bilstein shocks?

Have a fun sunday

Hi, i can't tell you anything about the turrets but i have Bilstein B6 on mine and they are the best i've ever had(after Terrafirma and Monroe)

I have galv standard turrets which I have because I got them at a good price. If I was buying at full price I would probably go for the skeleton type as that way it is easy to clean off the cr*p and treat with your chosen rust preventative. What ever I gotvi would prefer galv.

However, my truck is a budget (but not skimped) vehicle that I want to last but, I don't intend heavy offroading or it to be a papa-bling thing!

Shocks I can't comment on.

However, when you change your shocks and turrets be prepared to clean and treat that area of the chassis (unless yours is galv of course) as this will be an opportunity to get to areas that are not often accessible.

Disclaimer - I ain't no expert by any stretch of the imagination!!

My Monroe shocks have lasted a few thousand miles and are goosed. Very poor. Id shell out for nice ones as SF says.
